Having never actually glued a seashell to canvas, if we had to guess, we'd say yes! Unless there's something extremely unusual about seashells, it should act just like any other embellishment and the BEST GLUE EVER should work great. The most difficult thing I've ever glued was marshmallows--not to eat, obviously. No other glue I tried would work, and I tried a ton of them. Hot Glue wouldn't even work! By putting a layer on each marshmallow and letting it dry to tacky before sticking them together, I was able to adhere them together--forever! (The only thing this glue is not designed for is repairs, where either strength is needed--like a zipper--or where pieces need to be rejoined like plastic toys or china because the glue remains flexible when dry.)

Interesting about the ribbon, Bryana!!! I didn't think the pouch would have ANY effect on laser printers because it's not a wet ink so the process of drying would be totally different, too. But it stops laser bleeding.....hmmmm. Interesting! In the meantime, the pouch has a whole bunch of other things it does from stopping bleeding with fabric markers on polyester twill to eliminating static with glitter and embossing powder. Check out the video: POUCH 101. Also, If you do decide to try the burlap, I'd recommend taping all around the sides so you don't have any raw exposed edges. My printer is an all in one hp photo printer that pulls from the bottom front. (You can see it in several of the videos. such as this one where I print on metallic paper: http://youtu.be/JjsrUaxbp8g). I regularly print on tons of weird stuff--I just found some cork contact paper at Goodwill I look forward to trying. And although I've never has any issues (and I've printed on everything from muslin to clay), it is a "use at your own risk" kind of thing. Keep in touch and let us know what else you discover! If you get a chance, I'd love to see some images of the laser printing on ribbon, with and without the pouch. Write to us at CONTACT US and I'll give you an email address.

Hi Amy! So, I did not even realize until today that I have a laser printer (vs inkjet). Kind of bummed about it because the pouch does not seem to help at all with drying the ink quickly when printing on clear address labels, as I was hoping it would. However, I can say from experience, since I tried it a few months ago, that the pouch definitely gave a MUCH clearer and more crisp image when printing my niece's name on grosgrain ribbon with my laser printer. I just tried a piece of slick, pearly paper and the pouch didn't seem to work on that :( Even after five minutes the ink was still smearing.

I plan to get my hands on a used inkjet printer to use just for crafting. I'd feel better about coating things in powder if I wasn't put them in the family printer - and I've been wanting to try printing on burlap but there's just no way I'd put that messy stuff in my regular printer! My husband would freak out! Plus, the old printers have a simpler feed, with the papers going straight through from the tray in the back -- better for thicker media.

Well, just wanted to let you know what my experience has been with the pouch and my laser printer!

I was on your website today because I had received an email about my question regarding using the
Best Ever Glue to convert wood mounted stamps to cling stamps. I watched your video and it appears to be the product that would work best. You also have several other products that I am interest in. Thanks for sharing the video.
