Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it with a tutorial for making a tag.

Sometimes the materials suggest the project. This is the case with my tag made with ephemera. I loved the little girl knitting and it seemed like the perfect idea to make a gift tag to go on a special handmade knitted gift.
Materials:
- card stock
- the Best Glue Ever
- ScraPerfect’s No-Clog Writing Cap™
- ephemera
- Distress Oxide ink
- blending brushes
- hole punch
- ribbon

To begin, I chose to distress the edges of the colored card stock pieces. I cut the mint cardstock tag first, then the mustard tag a bit larger on all four sides. The mustard rectangle was a leftover piece from cutting the tag. Notice the hold isn’t punched yet in the mustard tag so I can align it correctly. These pieces were cut on the Works Board.

Here are all the individual parts ready to put together with The Best Glue Ever. You can watch how it was done in the following video tutorial.
