Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it with a Triple Layer Card.
Have you seen Triple Layer Cards? They seem to be rather popular in the card making groups. I recently made one in black and white and it was a lot easier then it looks. It was a lot of fun and rather quick to finalize.
materials
Materials:
- black cardstock
- white cardstock
- stamp set
- stamp block
- double stick removable tape
- black ink
- paper trimmer
- the Best Glue Ever
- ScraPerfect’s No-Clog Writing Cap™
Sizes to cut from the cardstock.
white cardstock | black cardstock |
2” x 31/4” | 21/4” x 31/2” |
3 x 41/4” | 31/4” x 41/2” |
4 x 51/4” | 81/2” x 51/2” |
The 81/2″ x 51/2″ piece, fold it in half for the card.
Stack the white layers together and adhere them with the removable double-stick tape.
Stamp your desired images.
Once done, remove the double-stick tape.
Here are my separated layers of white cardstock after stamping them.
Glue the back of the largest white cardstock and place it on the folded black cardstock.
I prefer to use the Best Glue Ever because I am able to move it around and get the pieces placed as I desire. Using another kind of product wouldn’t allow this adjustment.

Continue to glue and layer the pieces of cardstock.
The finished card. I am so happy with the results!
