How to Create SteamPunk-themed Hostess Gift Tag – EASY!

December 2019

Welcome Back Friends, Robin Here!

Are your ready for the holidays??

I am here today sharing a very easy quick gift that will be greatly appreciated!  A bottle of ones favorite wine, liquor, whiskey and a handcrafted bottle tag. I have taken this many times as a hostess give and it goes over well. So crack open your favorite, grab some card stock and join me!

I discovered the Best Ever Glue after becoming a design team member, for the ScraPerfect Blog. Talk about fast drying, quick grab, dries clear, glue! It truly is the Best Ever Glue!

There is a GREAT reason it was named the Best Glue Ever™. It Truly is the BEST!
Seriously, try it and see for yourself!

You need one sheet of card stock 8 1/2 x 11. I like to use heavier card stock, my favorite is 110# weight, it makes a great sturdy bottle tag. Measure out 4 tags that are 2 3/4 inch wide across the 8 1/2 width, making 4 tags. Score each tag on one end in 2 3/4 inch.Punch a 2 inch circle to the right of the score line, and fold. Embellish from there.

Check my bottle tag out:

I applied a light coat of decoupage glue over my tag and placed a piece of black and silver glitter tissue paper  and carefully torn the tissue paper away from edges. I die cut 2 cogs and gears corner pieces out of silver card stock, saving the dots from die cut and embellished the tag. I then stamped my steam punk girl on white card stock and added black and gray color pencil coloring, highlighting areas.Leaving a lot of white showing,Fussy cut her out and pop dotted her on the background for added interest.

Thank You for visiting and as always I appreciate your kind comments.

Until Next Time…….
