Hi there! Kim L. here today to share with you an upcycling project that I am excited about. I love to re-purpose things and am always looking for ways to organize and store things. With the help of the products from ScraPerfect, I turned a box into a fun washi tape holder. Check it out:
The box that I used closed into itself which I thought was great and came from something we ordered through the mail. I just couldn’t let it go to waste and saw that it was the perfect depth to store my washi tape in. To begin, I covered the entire box, inside and out with paper from the Graphic 45 Little Women collection. I used the Best Glue Ever with the large No Clog Writing Cap on the bottle. This ensures that I won’t use too much glue. All you need is a tiny dot and the hold is amazing!
In addition to the paper, I decided to use some book paper that I distressed with ink to keep with the Little Women theme. The Best Glue Ever worked well on this too. I continued until I had added all of the paper and distressed book paper on my box.
I even added a piece of tapestry that had book covers on it to the bottom front of my box with glue dots I made with the Best Glue Ever. Next it was time to embellish. I added stickles to all of the flowers on the paper all over the box. While the stickles were drying, I placed a few glue dots made from the Best Glue Ever on the top of my box where I knew I would be adding some heavier flowers.
My final layer of embellishing was to add some vintage buttons to my box for interest using the
Best Glue Ever. I would have never attempted this project without know how well the
Best Glue Ever would work on these varying materials. I love the way my washi tape storage box turned out and hope you do too, here are some more photos of the finished product:

I even decorated the bottom of the box:
