Hello crafty Friends! Welcome to the ScraPerfect blog.
Michelle with you today, sharing a quick & easy gift tag perfect for that holiday party host or hostess gift.
Easily made with the following ScraPerfect products:
Best Glue Ever
Perfect Crafting Pouch
Embellie Gellie
No-Clog Writing Tip
Additional supplies used: ribbon, plastic rhinestones, ink, stamps, embossing pad, embossing powder, double sided squares, tags (blank & printed).
I first used the Perfect Crafting Pouch, over the lower part of the blank white
tag and over the printed tag, to have more crisp stamped images. The Perfect Crafting Pouch can also be used to remove any “sticky” residue, left behind by using to much glue.
I chose a Christmas greeting to add on the lower part of the white tag, and used a snowflake image stamp over the printed. I used archival ink for both.
I also used the blank white tag to make my crystal Christmas tree. I chose a larger crystal for the tree top, and a rectangle for the tree trunk.
I applied the Best Glue Ever using a No-Clog Writing Cap, allowing me to add precise dots and not “over use” the glue. Using Embellie Gellie, I easily added each crystal offsetting them from the row before.
*I also allowed a few moments after adding my dots of Best Glue Ever, for the glue to set a bit.
Once the crystals had set, I cut the tree and the Christmas greeting from the white tag. I heat set the glittery embossing powder around the edges of the printed tag & greeting. I added double sided squares to apply the tree & greeting to the printed tag.
My hostess gift of choice, a bottle of fine Scottish whiskey, simply “packaged” by wrapping with layered plain white tissue paper, tied with a silver satin bow, and tied the glitzy tag with a shimmering ribbon to the silver ribbon.
An easy way to present a simple gift with an easy to make tag, using innovative products from ScraPerfect.
