Next I started working on my project. I only used tiny amounts of the Best Glue Ever and was amazed at the strength of this product. I did the entire huge tag using this glue with excellent results. Now the other ultimate test…… affixing the teeny tiny rhinestones using the Embellie Gellie. I have to say, it worked perfectly! Note the purple tiny rhinestones on the bouquet, had I not been using Embellie Gellie, I’m quite sure they would not have made it on this project!
I used a huge #12 manila tag and made a bottom pocket since there was plenty of space on this tag. Next came the inking and papering followed by the fun embellishments. I always try to make all of my projects interactive in some way, so this one was no different. I added a sweet tag on the front held in place by the little antique embellished band. The pocket holds a booklet with a tiny booklet inside and more tags. I popped up the girls to give dimension and used some Glossy Accents to accent several places over all for more ‘pop’. I made the delicate flower and again used a dismantled antique bracelet piece for the flower center; added some color mists to it and the ribbon and inked them to lend to the ‘old’ appearance.
