I’ve been getting packets of sequins inside my monthly scrapbook kits. And while they’re really fun to look at, they can be a bit of a pain to use. Unless you have two things: the Best Glue Ever and Embellie Gellie.
I like the haphazard look for these kind of embellishments, so I shook a small handful and dropped them onto my 4×6 card and let them fall where they may. Admittedly, sometimes it takes me a couple of tries before I’m happy. Often I move a few, drop a few more, move a few.
But once I’m satisfied with the layout I grab my bottle of the Best Glue Ever and my Embellie Gellie. Embellie Gellie is the best way to pick up small embellishments. When you open a new pack, pinch off a small pea-sized piece of the Embellie Gellie, roll it into a ball and stick onto the end of the applicator stick. It’s that easy.
Embellie Gellie lets me pick up the sequins quickly and easily to apply a small drop of the Best Glue Ever. And then it releases the sequin just as easily, once I place it down on the paper.
You can just as easily use the Embellie Gellie to pick up your sequin, add a drop of glue directly to your project and then place the sequin on top of the glue. This helps if you’re like me and bad at remembering just where the sequin goes.
