How to Alter a Canvas

I adhered the paper to the canvas using The Best Glue Ever from
ScraPerfect.  I absolutely love this adhesive because it does not
wrinkle the paper, a problem I ran into while trying to use Mod Podge.  A
little bit of burlap adds a lot of texture, don’t you agree?  The Best
Glue Ever is a great adhesive for all kinds of materials.  When I
decided to add the burlap and the ribbon on the tag, I reached for it
with confidence!

My favorite detail, though, is how I “fussy cut” the picture in the lower right so that my son’s arms reach out of the frame.  It is such an easy thing to do but it adds dimension and visual interest.
