How to make a Flower Soft SHEEP Embellishment -plus a DIY TIP!

Hi! This layout is one of my favorites. I love the photo of my kids sleeping, and I love the little sheep embellishment I made!

Counting Sheep…Sweet dreams. A sheep is a perfect embellishment for a layout about sleeping!   I didn’t have a sheep sticker or
ready-made embellishment, and I love making my own embellies. This one is so sweet and it was really easy to make!  I cut the sheep body from paper. (If you aren’t comfortable free-handing, just print a sheep from the internet.  I then covered it with a VERY thin layer of the Best Glue Ever and sprinkled “Flower Soft”.  If you don’t have this product, you can use flocking, or make your own. (See below for how to make your own fluffy stuff). The flower soft adhered to the paper perfectly! The glue dried SUPER fast and there weren’t any messy leftovers falling off.  I then glued on the sheep’s head and ears, applied the Perfect Crafting Pouch to the head and added a bit of glue to the forehead and sprinkled some flower soft on the sheep’s head. The pouch stops the static so the styrofoam only sticks to the glue, not the static-y paper.

Don’t you think it’s cute?

PS TO make your own powdery softness, use the kind of styrofoam sold for craft floral or holiday shapes. Simply rub two together, and the stuff falls off into a pile. You can also erode styrofoam packing blocks and collect the tiny “balls” created form the environmental nightmare.
