Hello and welcome! Shelly with you today sharing a camping themed layout that incorporates some “found” objects as embellishments.
Gather your supplies:
- Best Glue Ever
- No-Clog Writing Cap
- Textured Cardstock – White (Bazzill)
- “Gone Camping” Paper Collection (Carta Bella)
- “Man’s Best Friend” Cardstock Sticker (“Fetch” Collection – Photo Play)
- Wood Veneer Embellishments (Color Cast Designs)
- Found Objects: Canvas/Twine/Safety Pin tag from clothing and a piece of corrugated box
Make it:
- My 3 base layers measure 12 x 12, 11 x 11 and 10 x 10 I machine stitched around each piece
- Patterned Paper Photo Mat – 4 x 6
- Patterned Paper Strip- 1 x 7.5 (with machine stitching)
You should ALWAYS use the No-Clog Writing Cap with Best Glue Ever – – you do not need a lot of BGE for good adhesion and the Cap really helps save glue (along with allowing you apply with precision!)
Best Glue Ever works great on types of surfaces and mediums.
Designer Tips:
- Use a bit of Best Glue Ever on stickers and “self sticking” embellishments – never worry about the adhesive going bad and your pages falling apart
- Save and use those branding strips from your patterned paper – they often add just the right touch (see the “Gone Camping” at the top of my page!)
Thanks for stopping by the blog today – have a creative week!
