Hey there!
We are celebrating Earth Day here at ScraPerfect by making altered paper clips. This is Lisa and this is the first altered paper clip I have done. This was so much fun!
Here’s what I did:
I tore a page from an old book and tore it in half:
I folded it in half:
Using The Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached, I added a small thin line of glue:
Then I folded it over:
I added a paper clip and added thin lines of glue:
I was ready to get messy! I added a thin layer of Gesso:
When that was dry, I took a stencil and applied glass beads through it:
Here is what it looked like:
I added some of The Best Glue Ever to the “Dream” wood veneer piece and spread it using my finger:
Once the glue was dry (clear) I placed a piece of the transfer foil on top and rubbed with my finger:
This was the outcome, shiny and gorgeous!
I added a few different colors of orange mists, letting it dry in between layers:
I added some brown mist spatters:
I foiled the star as well and attached it and the “Dream” wood veneer using the Best Glue Ever. Finally, I added sequins using the Embellie Gellie:
Here is my finished clip:
I love how this turned out!
