Hello everyone, Stacy here with a fun altered item for you today. I love to use stick pins on projects, but did not like my ugly red pin cushion….so I did what any normal person would, I altered it!!!
I started by placing the ribbon around the pin cushion. This was very easy to do with normal little sewing pins. A friend gave me these super cool vintage wooden spools so umm….yes had to use those also!! I cut the strip of paper to wrap around it, then I placed some of The Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect on the middle of the spool, used a paintbrush to smooth it out and then placed the paper around it. I also used the glue to place the buttons on top of the spool as well.
I used a die from Spellbinders for the dress, but I wanted to add a little bling. This is where my handy little Embellie Gellie came into play. This made it super easy to place the bling in that small little area. I finished off the dress by adding a little ribbon around it and tied a couple of tags on it.
