How to create an “Artist At Work” Door Sign

I made a fun sign for my door saying: “Artist at Work”. (Since I live in Israel, it is written in Hebrew). You can write it in English or any language, or even make signs for your children’s bedroom doors.  Maybe they’d like to help:)

I covered a piece of chipboard with patterned paper and added embellishments. (You can be sure when you use ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever™ that all the embellies will stick; plastic, wood, fabric, metal, chipboard, etc!) One of the easiest and most fun is printing letters on white cardstock and cutting them out into pieces. (Feel free to make them any shape at all!)

To make sure the print will be crisp and clear I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch! Before printing I simply rubbed it on the paper. It came out great, and SO much crisper than just printing on the “untreated” cardstock!

After it was dry, I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch again to make sure my glitter will stick to the paper ONLY where I wanted it to stick and not leave any glitter on other parts of the paper.  The pouch works to remove static (just like it does when I use it before stamping with pigment ink and heat embossing.) This is the BEST way to get clean glitter lines in the center of each letter! And of course, the Best Glue Ever holds that glitter so beautifully forever!
