Using Homemade Glue Spots

Baker’s Twine is All the Rage! And for good reason…it adds a little texture without adding a lot of bulk and it comes in a wide range of colors!!

I found a really cool pack in the Daily Junque line from Pink Paislee…really non-traditional colors combinations. The turquoise and yellow combo were the perfect finishing touch for a card I was making.

Problem: I wanted to wrap the twine around the card 3 times before I tied it off, but it kept slipping around.

Solution: A home-made sticky dot made with The Best Glue Ever. I placed it on the front of the card where I wanted the twine to intersect , then I just started laying the twine on top of the sticky dot with each wrap.

It worked beautifully! I also used the sticky dots to add dimension to the stamped & layered focal image.

Note: I keep a supply of sticky dots on hand. I just squeeze out small dots of The Best Glue Ever onto my Inkssentials – Reusable Non Stick Craft Sheet by Ranger.
