Here is what you will need to create a set.

First you will need from
ScraPerfect:
Best Glue Ever
Medium No-Clog Writing Cap

Additional Supplies:
2-Standard Tags
Felt
Water Colors of choice
(I used Distress Oxides by Tim Holtz)
Resin or Clay Embellishments
Paper Flowers
Glitter Glue
Large Paper Clips

For the dangle featured with this set, I used pastel colored shells, chain, jumprings and lobster claw style claso from my jewelry making stash.

With the arrival of spring, all the colors are coming alive, yet are still on that soft pastel before hitting their peak vibrancy of spring color, and this was the inspiration for my embellishment project this week.

So, I chose A mixed variety of pastel paper layering flowers to use in designing pretty paper clips.

I wanted the center of each flower to be embellished with with something spring like, so I chose a variety of flowers & nature ithemed clay embellishments I had previously made, and applied 2 coats to each using Mod Podge Mega Glitter from Plaid.

As I set those aside to dry, I began to assemble the floral paper clips.

I cut four dime size circles from felt, and applied Best Glue Ever to each, then layering with a paperclip & topping with a paper flower.

Setting those aside to cure, I began to work on the tag, which would serve as a card holder for the paperclips.

I chose to use Tim Holtz Distress Oxides, because I love the the effects and the colors, in the application process.

Using the ink pad directly on my craft mat, I lightly spritz the color with water, then lay the tag on top of the mix, and blotted the tag across to achieve a watercolor like look.
I dried each separate application of each color with my heat tool, before applying the next color.

Once I had achieved the desired look, I then glued the colored tag unto a plain white tag, to give extra stability, Using Best Glue Ever with a Medium Sized No-Clog Writing Cap.

I also used scrap pink cardstock, to create a belt to hold the paper clips in place, using Best Glue Ever once again.

Once the glittered embellishments and flower clips had set, I applied a generous amount of Best Glue Ever to the back of each clay embellishment, added to each flower center, and allowed it to cure for a couple of hours.

For the finishing touch, I created a removable dangle, that could also be used in journal as well.

And there you have it!
Beautifully and softly colored, invoking pleasant colors and joys of spring, in a collection of easy to make journal embellishments!
