I’ve been making some homemade plastic ornaments using my Silhouette to cut vinyl. Which usually goes pretty well …. until it doesn’t and you have to scrape off some vinyl that got twisted or wonky. Anyone else ever had vinyl problems? I know I’m not alone.
However, once you peel off the vinyl pieces you’re left with sticky residue. Can you see all the smudges? The word Christmas ended up overlapping on a couple of letters so I carefully pulled it off the ornament. This was a present for a teacher, so I couldn’t let it remain all smudged
I took out my bottle of the Best Cleaner Ever and spritzed a paper towel then carefully wiped the adhesive smudges on the ornament. It literally took one minute and all the smudges were wiped away. Now I had a clean surface to adhere another piece of vinyl and fix my mistake.
See? All shiny!
