Earlier this month I showed you how to make a felt flower with the Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One die and now I want to show you how I used it.
I created this winter-themed canvas for a challenge and found the perfect spot for my creamy felt rose at the base of the Christmas Tree. Of course I attached it with a large glue spot made with The Best Glue Ever – I think it is just lovely!
Once the glitter dried, I spread some of The Best Glue Ever on the back
of the reindeer and all the chunky embellishments: scrabble tiles,
charms, snowflakes, metal letters, and the wooden frame. After a few
minutes, the glue turned into super sticky clear glue spots and it was
easy to apply all those embellies to the canvas.
I also used tiny dots of The Best Glue Ever to adhere the transparencies. I hid them behind the design elements on the transparencies and waited for them to become glue spots before adhering them to the canvas. Worked great – you can’t see them at all!
The Best Glue Ever is so versatile! It certainly makes it easy to put together a project like this when you only need to use one adhesive to attach everything from paper to transparencies to chunky metal charms! I like to pack light when it comes to crops and that is why I always have a bottle of this stuff in my bag!
