Hello everyone! Jeanne here today to share with you my very first design team project with you all. I love to create mini albums but what I really enjoyed about making this one is that I only had to use ONE adhesive for everything that I used to create it and that was of course ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever! I must say it definitely is the BEST GLUE EVER!
Before I began I went ahead and added the Large No Clog Writing Cap onto the bottle of ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever. The very first thing I did was paint the edges of the Graphic 45 Book Box and the cover of the ATC Mini Album Base with Finnabair Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint in Vintage Rose Color. Then adhered the papers which are Frank Garcia’s Just Like Magic Collection 12×12 paper pad, onto the base of the book box . I barely had to use any glue at all on my papers. I also adhered the papers from the same collection but using the 6×6 paper pad onto the ATC album base . #MagicalMarchWithScraPerfect
Once the papers were adhered I began embellishing the box . Since this was a pre made kit from the monthly parcel packages from Frank Garcia that I receive monthly, there are some pieces that already come cut to size such as the heart , Disney Castles, and the glitter leather that are on the spine of the book box and album. I was out of foam or dimensional tape so when this happens I use recycled cardboard. So in between the layers of papers up to my final layer I used the Best Glue Ever on the card board and didn’t need to reinforce it with any other adhesive such as hot glue as I had done in the past at times. I then adhered all of the flowers and pearl embellishments with this same glue. I even used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere the glitter leather pieces on my project! I finished off the cover of the box by using some of ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie to pick up my star sequins onto the cover of my box as well.
