Hello Creative Friends!
Welcome to the ScraPerfect blog.
Michelle here today, to share with you a project inspired by the talented
Marta Lapkowska of Maremi Small Art, postage stamp inspired embellishment pieces.
And I used the FABULOUS products of ScraPerfect to make this collection.
ScraPerfect Products Used:
Best Glue Ever
No-Clog Writing Cap
Perfect Crafting Pouch
Additional Supplies:
Cardstock/Craft Paper & Ivory
Paper Trimmer
Edging Design Scissors
Ephemera
Postal Style Cling Stamps
Paper Flowers
After making my cardstock selection for this project, I used ruler and lined length wise,
8×11.5 cardstock in 4-3inch rows and then cut using my paper trimmer.
Once I had cut length wise, I then cut each piece in various square and rectangle sizes.
I then used edging scissors with a similar design to a postage stamp edge, and cut all edges of each piece, cutting small smaller than others for layering.
To ad more interest to the edges, I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy with a distress sponge tool.
I also did the same to the edges of the chosen ephemera.
Next, came the layering, using Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap, enabled me to use precise amounts of glue for each piece with out overuse or waste.
For a couple of the stamps, I used a mini sheet music stamp, along with the Perfect Crafting Pouch for amore crisp background image.
To use the pouch, I just very lightly tapped the stamp, and then used my Staz On Jet Black Ink directly afterwards.
That is really all there was to making these delightful little beauties.
And with ScraPerfect, they came together with perfection!
