A guy called our toll-free number about old football jerseys which had been scribbled on with Sharpie Markers™. He wanted to ask about ScraPerfect’s Best Cleaner Ever™.
He said he’d tried tons of different spot removers, cleaners, and laundry products to remove ink from some shirts that meant a lot to him, but nothing was working.
He explained that some of the cleaners had spread the ink but weren’t removing it. He found ScraPerfect’s Best Cleaner Ever™ by googling “removing sharpie markers” and said he’d need to buy a lot more than a 2 ounce bottle.
I recommended he try it first on his different fabrics to make sure it worked to his satisfaction, didn’t leave a residue, etc. I suggested he spray it on a dry shirt, rub it in with his
fingernail or brush, and let it sit. (Blot and repeat–perhaps.)
Wash to remove the cleaner and repeat if necessary…
He called back so happy and wanted a LOT more!
After seeing these photos, I honestly don’t want to think about how they got like this! Anyway, Ryan mentioned that while it didn’t completely remove every last mark, any that remained were very faint, and he was definitely so satisfied with the results! While I’m really sad he had to go through this, I’m impressed with the results as well.
