Hi ScraPerfect friends, Steph here today with a birthday card I hope you’ll love.
I began by embossing the purple background with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and lightly inking with Faber Castel Gelatos.
I love this Memory Box die, but it is so very thin. The Best Glue Ever was perfect to use to adhere all those tiny pieces.
I used Faber Castell Gelatos on the ribbon, running several colors of purple along the length, then I placed it in a bag of water and smooshed it around. This allowed the ink to “dissolve” on the ribbon and turned the ribbon lavender to match the background.
After drying the ribbon, I tied it around the card, then added a sentiment to the ribbon.
