Hello crafty friends,
Melinda here with you today and I am sharing a fun and bright card I created with some of the fantastic foil and some Best Glue Ever! Here it is.
My card is a top folding A2 sized card. I started with a white cardstock base. I then added a mat of some patterned paper and then a strip of yellow cardstock.
I die cut out my pretty daisy floral image. I added a touch of the Best Glue Ever and spread it out over the face of the die cut.
Once the glue was slightly dry and tacky, I laid some of the pretty silver foil sheet onto the die cut. I burnished it on and then lifted off the foil sheet. I kept repeating this process until the entire die cut was covered with the gorgeous foil.
Here’s a look at the die cut once covered with the foil. This picture just doesn’t do it justice. The light just moves and reflects so beautifully off the die cut!
Next I took a strip of yellow paper and used my Perfect Crafting Pouch to prep the surface for a smooth and crisp stamping.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment onto the prepared surface.
I used my Best Glue Ever to adhere the foiled daisy die cut onto an oval scallop stitched die cut. I mounted all of that onto the card base.
Here you can see that I also used my Embellie Gellie to add some of the pretty and delicate stones that come in the wheel of embellies. They add the perfect touch.
