Hell and welcome – Shelly with you today sharing a nautical themed scrapbook layout. It’s no secret that my niece’s wedding pictures have given me endless scrapbooking inspiration, and now here come the honeymoon layouts!
Let’s jump right in and get scrapping!
Supply List:
- Best Glue Ever
- No Clog Writing Cap
- Embellie Gellie
- White 12×12 Textured Cardstock (for base)
- (3) Different Patterned Papers – I am using “Voyage” from Authentique
- Photo Mat Cut to 8 x 5.5
- Striped Mat cut to 9 x 7
- Corner accent piece cut to 3 x 4
- Cardstock Sticker, Journaling Cards Die Cuts – “Voyage” collection from Authentique
- Bakers Twine (red/white/blue)
- Dew Drops from The Robin’s Nest
This is a clean and simple layout that comes together quickly – remember use the No Clog Writing Cap with your Best Glue Ever to get precision application with no waste – a little goes a long way!
When using die cuts, stickers and journaling collections – use foam dimensional tape on some pieces to create dimension on your page (but always a dot of Best Glue Ever to make sure that foam stays secure!)
And think outside the box. My seagull embellishment is fussy cut from a journaling card.
Final touches: Twine, Dew Drops to mimic bubbles (so easy to apply with Embellie Gellie!) and the location / date stamped along the bottom.
