How to Create Easy, Cute and Budget-Friendly Teacher Gifts

Where has summer gone? It’s already time for Back to School!

Today I am sharing a quick and easy teacher gift that won’t break the bank and the entire project was put together using Best Glue Ever and the No-Clog Writing Cap on all kinds of different textures, surfaces and mediums:

I found these over-sized erasers at my local Dollar Store and knew I could create an adorable teacher gift with them.  These erasers are also the perfect size for including a gift card.

What I used:

  • Best Glue Ever
  • No Clog Writing Cap
  • Base – white textured cardstock cut to 4″ wide x 5-1/2″ long (score at 1-1/2″, 2″, 4″ and 4-1/2″)
  • Patterned cardstock, fabric, burlap cut to 3″ wide x 5-1/2″ long
  • Embellishments of your choice – buttons, sequins, flowers, etc
  • Twine or Ribbon

  • Wrap white cardstock around eraser and secure with Best Glue Ever.  Note in the picture how little BGE is needed for a good hold!  The No-Clog Writing Cap allows you to apply BGE with precision and insures there is no waste.
You don’t need much to make it stick!
  • Wrap your next layer (more cardstock, fabric or burlap) around the eraser, centering over the white cardstock and again secure on back with BGE
  • Now go wild! Use whatever catches your fancy to finish – and rest assured, whatever you pull from your stash, Best Glue Ever is the adhesive to stick it down!
Paper, Fabric, Burlap, Resin, Plastic – – Best Glue Ever works on all types of surfaces and mediums!
  • Optional:  add a tag with a punny saying – “It’s No Mistake – I’m Glad You’re My Teacher!”

Thanks for stopping by today – have a creative week!
