How to Create This Easy. Spooky Halloween Tree with a Thrift Store Find

Hello and welcome to the blog – Shelly with you today sharing a Halloween Tree I created with a thrift store find, a branch from my yard and paper scraps – all put together with Best Glue Ever and Embellie Gellie

I found a great miniature cast iron urn at a local thrift shop.  I spray painted the urn and a branch I scavenged from my yard.

Using punches, I created banner flags and butterflies.  Best Glue Ever (with the No Clog Writing Cap) was used to create the banners and attach dew drops to my spooky butterflies.  The No Clog Writing Cap allows you to control the application of Best Glue Ever, and it dries completely clear so it is great to use with opaque elements

To secure my tree in the urn, I decided to use wax – fast and easy – plus, if I decide to change up the urn and create a Christmas Tree project, it will be easy to pop out the Halloween Tree!

Black glitter was added to top of wax for a little sparkle.

Embellie Gellie is the perfect tool for grabbing and placing small elements

The banners were hung on the tree branches using tiny clothes pins!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today – have a creative week and make something spooky!
