How to Decoupage on Shells

Hi All! Amy here with a new-to-me but very old paper crafting technique – with a twist! As a Board Member of a non-profit, and I wanted to make each leadership team member a gift, and decided to try my hand at decoupage using our Bee logo as inspiration.

After my first batch of shells, I can tell this is going to be very addicting. In fact, after buying my first pack of napkins, I spent way too much time scouring for more cute patterns and luckily stumbled upon a marketplace seller who hosts a swap group on Facebook. But even better, I discovered my Million Dollar Printing Technique can be applied to decoupage, so I can print my own designs which will save me from spending lots of time on the hunt and lots of money on the napkins, lol.

I took the technique one step further using a photo of my next door neighbors when we were at the beach last month. I cropped and adjusted it’s size, dropped it into a word processing file and typed the “title”. I then printed it out, and using all the same techniques I used on the Bee-Shells Sea-Shells, I made a gift on a Razor Clam shell we found while walking the beach that day.

Without further ado, here’s my latest video tutorial, compete with step-by-step for beginners and lots of tips for you “Decoupage Masters”. Please feel free to comment and share your tips (or questions:)
