Hi, Karen here…I’d like to share how to easily adhere foil to enhance any Christmas Card. It is super simple and so effective to add some beautiful foil details. The tiny no clog tip makes adding fine details a breeze. - Emboss a Christmas image onto white cardstock. Apply BGE onto the raised areas that you would like to highlight with foil and set aside to dry.
- When the glue changes from white to clear, it is tacky and ready for the foil to be applied. Gently use the pad of your finger to rub over the foil allowing the glue to attach to the foil. Carefully, peel away the foil to reveal the colored adhesive details.
(TIP: Foil is colored on one side and grey on the backside. Always, place the foil grey side down with the colored side facing up.)
- Matte the embossed design with pattern paper leaving a narrow border.
- Adhere the finished image onto green glitter card stock with BGE. Notice how little glue you really need to do the job. BGE is a really great value and has been very economical replacement for double sided tape.
- Finally, use the Embellie Gellie tool to embellish the card with green diamond Dew Drops. This tool makes selecting, transporting, and placing small gems a snap. Perfect placement everytime!
