It’s Karen…I’m here to show you how easy it is to create a beautiful sugar skull card. The Embellie Gellie is the perfect tool to use to select, transport, and adhere the gems into place. It makes this a stress free experience because you don’t have the hassle of trying to pick up the gems with your fingers. Directions Card 1: Stamp spider webs into the corners of an orange card base. Adhere a selection of various gems to the skull. Use Embellie Gellie to easily place the gems into position. Create a crown of flowers at the top of the skull and adhere gems to the center of the flowers.
Supplies Card 1: skull die cut, spider web stamp, black ink pad, orange card base (5×7″), small paper flowers, multi color dome gems
Bonus Project: Halloween Card
Directions Card 2: Emboss black card stock with spider web design. Use the No Clog Cap on the bottle to apply BGE to outline select portions of the spider web. When dry, apply silver transfer foil to the sticky glue to add subtle twinkly silver highlights. Stamp a witch image onto white card stock with black ink. Next, color and cut it out and then adhere it to the upper right corner. Use transfer foil to embellish a simple foam spider shape. Attach a silver thread to the spider to create a kinetic element on the card. Adhere the embossed paper to a silver card base. Add a Halloween sentiment near the lower edge.
Supplies Card 2: web embossing folder, black & white card stock, full moon with witch rubber stamp, black & yellow ink pad, ink blending tool, silver card base (5×7″), foam spider die cut, silver thread, washi-tape Halloween sentiment, bat embellishments
