Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes – yes, it’s a thing! Hello and welcome to the blog – Shelly with your today sharing the process for creating these beautiful Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes.
GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES:
White Bakery Box (Amazon)
Shredded Gift Bag “fill”
White Card Stock
Aqua Card Stock
Gray / White Striped Card Stock
Succulent Patterned Paper
Lace
Bridesmaid Proposal Cards (Etsy)
Mini Clothes Pins
Twine
Kraft Tags
Packing “pillows”
MAKE IT:
- Trim white cardstock to fit inside bakery box lid
- Fussy cut succulent patterned paper and adhere to bottom edge of white cardstock with Best Glue Ever
- Cut a 2″ Strip of gray striped cardstock and adhere across bottom edge of your succulent patterned paper
- Cut a 1″ Strip of aqua cardstock and adhere along bottom edge of striped cardstock
- Using Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap, draw a thin bead of adhesive along the top edge of aqua strip – let glue get clear and tacky, then apply a strip of lace
- Attach your assembled layered piece to inside box lid
- Glue mini clothes pin in place
- Clip Bridesmaid Proposal Card to inside of box lid with clothes pin
- Place plastic packing pillows in bottom of box – this will allow you to use less of the shredded box fill and cushion your gift items
- Fill your boxes (see list below of items we used)
- Tie box with twine, add kraft tag and photo of bride-to-be and bridesmaid
