Because I own several Cricut products, I get a lot of emails to sell me more Cricut products. I also get notification of freebies for my machines, and I like that! I’m always making birthday cards and recently I got a great Freebie for birthday cards. Today I am going to show you how I made a super fast masculine Birthday card.
I’ll show you the card and then the process:
I selected a card base, layering, and focal papers
I stamped a watermark image using my Misti and a TH stamp
This was the first time I have used this ink pad, it is a dye base white, I wasn’t sure how well it would work.
It worked great!
I die cut my Happy Birthdays ( this was the Cricut freebie)
And using my Best Glue Ever I was able to easily dot on the right amount of glue- here I am using the no-clog cap, I keep several bottles on hand one with this fine line no-clog cap and one with the regular tip
It goes on perfect! and one thing I love using Best Glue Ever, it something is not straight the first time, I have a few seconds to fix it – unlike using ATG tape!
this fine cut lays perfectly flat
Along with all the layers – no rumpling!
The SVG cut is part of Cricut Access, so if you are a member you can find it over on the Cricut Design Studio. when I am making masculine cards, they tend to have darker stronger colors on a trick to keep them from looking dismal is to keep your color contrasting high. This high contrast will draw the eye and have an overall pleasing look. dark colors can easily look muddy and dismal if the contrast isn’t high.
I hope you found this post helpful to your card making,
