Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it with card-making using ScraPerfect Foil and Alcohol Ink.
Here is the finished piece.
You might remember this post on Oct 3 where I shared a tutorial for making the above image using alcohol inks and ScraPerfect’s transfer foil. Today I am taking that piece and using it for a greeting card.
materials:
- white card stock
- Best Glue Ever
- No-Clog Writing Cap
- blue cardstock
- clear embossing powder
- celebrate die
- ink pad – VersaMark
- heat gun – HomeRight
directions:
Using the piece from my last post, I trimmed off the sides.
These are the collected materials.
First, glue the blue cardstock to the folded card base.
Then glue the artwork on top of the blue cardstock.
Here are the layers in place.
Finally, glue the sentiment in place.
The sentiment was die cut from white cardstock and then clear embossing powder was used and heated before gluing it into place.
