Hello crafters, Kim L. here today to share some quick and easy cards for Halloween. My intention for these cards were that school-aged children could assist in making them. They could be given to their friends or teachers. I hope you like my cards, here they are:
All of the products used in these cards were in my stash, so this was super economical! I started with plain cards that each had a different cut out shape or embossed edges. Then I got out the Best Glue Ever and starting attaching various embellishments. What I like is that I could reposition or build layers with the
Best Glue Ever. I utilized some foam tape to add dimension on a few of my cards too. Some of things I added to my cards were: ribbon bows, punched circles, buttons, skeleton hands, and fringed paper. Then I used a black marker to add some writing and sprayed with a white chalk spray. I also stamped on the front of some of the cards as well as on the inside. To add cuteness, I used a “handmade by” stamp on the back where a child could add their signature. You could also use your child’s fingerprints after stamping them on the ink pad of your choice. Super fast and easy! Now it is time to hand these creations off to the kids to personalize for their classmates and teachers. If I wanted to send these to adults, I would have added more intricate layers and embellishments, such as: glitter, beads, flowers, black lace, pearls, bling, or playing cards. As I do with all of my projects, I gave my hands a squirt or two of the Best Cleaner Ever and wiped away the paint and ink in a jiffy!
Supply List for these cards include:
No Clog Writing Cap ( for the top of your BGE bottle)
Cards, ribbon, buttons, creepy embellishments, markers, foam dots ( or you can make your own glue dots with the Best Glue Ever). Paper towels or baby wipes, scissors (plain or fringe), and most of all your family!
