I started with a stock panel made card as my base, and used the Best Glue Ever very lightly to attach the texture embossed background, and to build the additional layers. The prize rosette ribbon element, was pre-glued, also with BGE, and was an extra from another project, but a perfect focal point for this card.
To complete the look of the rosette ribbon, I used BGE to attach a star shaped button and dew drop to complete the look. Also used BGE, spread lightly over the ribbon portion, and on a paper star, to add the Transfer Foils, for a little more pizzaz.
To finish, I used double sided dimensional squares, adding BGE to secure the hold, on the salutation and glittered firework elements, and also to the ribbon.
With a little bit of the Best Glue Ever and the right elements, making a card is easy to do.
This card is very fitting for this holiday. Picnics & celebrations with family and friends, food and fireworks galore. A day to recognize the great & brave, for their sacrifice, for this great nation in which we live.
