Today I am sharing how I make resin earrings that are enhanced with ScraPerfect Embellies. I just got a new shipment in of the different embellies available and I knew I wanted to make jewelry with them.
materials
Materials:
- resin mold
- uv resin
- uv resin light
- ScraPerfect embellies
- seed beads, and 2 larger blue beads
- ear wires
- jewelry making tools:
- pliers
- beading needle
- fireline

Directions:
Using the mold, I’ve added a small layer of resin and cured it with the UV light. Then I added the embellies and covered them with resin.
One more time under the UV light for about 99 seconds and I am ready to de-mold and make another one. It really is that quick.
Setting up to bead the resin pieces. I am going to use coordinating seed beads, one additional blue bead (larger) per earrings, and silver ear wires.
For the beading, I strung the one larger blue bead and then enough seed beads to go through and around the resin piece (about 20), then back through the larger blue bead. To make the loop to attach to the ear wire, I strung more seed beads (about 7), then back through the larger blue bead and a few more seed beads. Tieing a knot and cutting the ends of the fireline. Then I added the piece to the ear wire and it is finished.
They really turned out great and I envision making more in a variety of different shapes and colors. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that you are inspired to try your hand working with UV resin.
