Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it with a tutorial for making a Springtime Gift tag.
There are a number of opportunities in spring for gift giving. Make some springtime themed gift tags now so that you are ready when they are needed.
Materials:
- white cardstock tag
- white, yellow, and green card stock
- Spellbinders die – Poppy Die Set
- Sizzix sidekick
- green ink pad
- blending brush
- the Best Glue Ever
- ScraPerfect’s No-Clog Writing Cap™
- Wink of Stella pen
- Uniball White gel pen
- Midas Touch Gold pen
- craft foam
- sheer green ribbons
Directions:
To start, I cut a white tag from cardstock and then cut all the pieces needed using the dies.
The Spellbinder dies were a perfect size to use with the Sizzix sidekick.
Here are all the pieces cut but not put together.
The white flower against the white tag needed to be defined
so I blended green ink on the tag.
The yellow pieces were enhanced with a white gel pen.
The white flower pieces were outlined with Midas Gold.
The leaves were covered in Wink of Stella, giving a bit of sparkle.
Finally, it was time to glue all the pieces together.
I used some craft foam to raise up the yellow center of the flower.

The tag needed some ribbon for a final touch.
