Ginny Here, I recently watched a You Tube video on how to make an origami Paper dress, I thought these would make the sweetest card for all occasions! So I had a great time crafting with friends and making these adorable dress card!
These three are my favorites:
I left the sentiment off, for now, that way I can turn these into what ever I need them to be when I get ready to send it!
I used the Best Glue Ever to hold the layers and the dresses- worked great!
Best Glue Ever! |
Just a tiny drop and bead hold it down perfectly
Add glue and then put a book on it to flatten it a bit
For the delicate die cut sentiment and embellishments, I also used the BGE
If you are interested in learning how to make these, here is the video I used, there is no sound, which worked better for me. It took me 6 video repeats before I could make one.
These would be perfect for Weddings, Birthday, Cheer, etc cards.
I also found using the light weight 6×6 designer paper worked really great for my A6 size cards. for the A2 you might want to start with a 5×5 square. the stacks of 180 sheets of paper that you see in the craft stores really work well. I tried the Cardstock and it was much more difficult to fold and to bulky to mail. Now if you wanted to make a sweet bridal shower bunting, the larger heavier paper would work beautifully!
