How to Remove Paint from Hands SAFE and EASY!!

Hi All-

OH NO! BLACK, Oil-Based Enamel Paint on my hands…
That was the “culprit”. But easy-peasy, my hands are clean thanks to my “secret weapon”!

Ever been deep into a project and you look at your hands and realize you’ve got as much paint on them as on the intended surface? Not so bad when it’s water colors, but what if it doesn’t clean up so easily? It’s bad enough when it’s a latex wall paint that I seem to get everywhere on my body from my knees to my elbows when I’m painting a room. It’s even worse when it’s an oil based enamel!!
Today, I was doing a tiny little touchup on the underside of a tool in my garage, using a cheap craft brush in a little bottle of TESTOR’S ENAMEL, you know the kind made for models? It dries very shiny and permanent, but yeah, you got it. I looked at my hands and there seriously was more on my hands than the little dimes size spot I was painting.  They recommend Paint Remover for cleanup, but no way am I putting toxic paint remover on my skin, nor breathing the fumes from a petroleum distillate- hydrocarbon solvents like mineral spirits, kerosene, white spirits, naphtha, etc.

INSTEAD…I spritzed a little of ScraPerfect’s BEST CLEANER EVER™. It’s the earth-friendly, people safe solvent that I use all over my house to remove everything from paint and Sharpie markers, to adhesive residue and chewing gum. I use it to clean rubber stamps, wood floors, scissors, carpet, ETC!

I LOVE the BEST CLEANER EVER™!
