leftover double-sided paper and layered it on to blank cards, using tiny spots
of Best Glue Ever, just like always. I made sure to leave the top side not attached so I could slide the paper clips on.
I also made a pocket card by folding a long rectangle twice. I did some very
light embellishment and inking, holding back to let the focus be on the paper clips.

The paper clips were super easy to make. I found a heavy
paper worked better than actual card stock as the base layer, folding over the
actual clip, and was held in place perfectly with Best Glue Ever. I layered with assorted scraps left over from other projects, as
well as washi tape (so fast) and some vintage button embellishments and stickers from
in my stash. Then I realized that I had several little jackalopes left over
from our cross-promotion with the beautiful Lawn Fawn – and look how cute and
perfect these diminutive little critters are on an altered paper clip!

I have, which I covered (in the shopping bag paper) to make it more appealing. Best Glue Ever worked very
well on the lightly textured original surface. I’m going to turn it into an art and ideas notebook, and now I have a terrific book mark to keep my place.
