How to Use Foil On Your Card

Hey there ScraPerfect Fans!
Lisa here today to share a fun foiled graduation card with you. I used the school colors of black, orange and white for this card:

I gathered my supplies:

stencil

white cardstock
palette knife
To start with, I took a stencil and added the Best Glue Ever using a palette knife.

I removed the stencil and let it dry. When the glue is dry, it will be tacky.

I placed a piece of the orange Transfer Foil on top of the glue and rubbed using my fingers. Sorry I don’t have a photo of this, it didn’t turn out. Here is the result:

I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch to remove any stickiness the glue left behind.
I added this to a few layers of cardstock and stitched in place.

I stamped using embossing ink

and added embossing powder. I heat embossed it:

I didn’t like the results, so I added a few thin glue lines using the Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached. I let it dry:
Finally, I added 2 strips of ribbon and the “Congrats” sticker.
The Best Glue Ever is perfect for adding ribbon to your projects. If you let it dry, it’s tacky enough to hold ribbon and the glue doesn’t seep into the ribbon!
Here’s another look at my card:
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with us!
