It’s Ir-RESIST-able!

I love using the Best Glue Ever with stamps. It’s great for flocking and glitter. But I got to thinking about what else I could use it for. And, I discovered that it’s great for resists, too!

To do this, apply a thin layer of the Best Glue Ever to your stamp. I used a cheap foam brush that I can just throw away when I’m done. You can see the glue on the stamp in the bottom picture.

Stamp as normal, then clean off your stamp! I had some handi-wipes nearby and they worked fabulously. And since you’re using a thin layer of glue it dries pretty quick, usually by the time I’ve cleaned off my stamp.

Now, grab your inks. I used Tim Holtz’s Distress Inks and ink blending tool. The Best Glue Ever will resist the ink and let the paper underneath show through. Pretty cool, eh?

When you’re done with the ink, lightly spritz a paper towel with water and gently swipe over your stamped image to remove any extra ink that’s lying on top of the glue.

Then, take the Perfect Crafting Pouch and lightly apply to the stamped image – no more stickiness! The Perfect Crafting Pouch is a great sticker deactivator, and works just as well on the Best Glue Ever.

Here’s another example. You can see the glue on the paper after stamping….

And the finished card….
