Sharing a Layout

Hello everyone Stacy here to share a creation with you today. I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far and getting lots of great photos to scrap 🙂

So my project for today is a layout. I was asked to guest design at A Few Of My Favorite things and we were to create a layout with a favorite piece of art. So I took a picture of the calendar I made that was on the blog here last week and scrapped it. Since it was for my favorite things…I thought well what better to use on my layout than my favorite ScraPerfect goodies right!!!!!

Here is my layout that I created.

Now what ScraPerfect goodies did I use??? Well to start I have to say I LOVE the Best Glue Ever! I haven’t found anything that it doesn’t work on yet!! On this layout I used it to adhere the wooden dress form, and the metal clock…and yes it worked like a charm. Now I had these cool paper bags that I cut into flowers for the layout. I placed just a small amount of glue on the back and set it aside for just a bit to let it get a little tacky. I then placed them on the layout in layers with no problem. The nice thing is they didn’t even slide around when I placed them down! When placing the button in the center of the flower I used Embellie Gellie to hold it over the flower to make sure it was right in the center.

OK so I know they say you shouldn’t eat while scrapbooking right….well I needed a little snack and guess what happend? I put a smudge on my photo! I was not happy in the least but reached for my Perfect Cleaning Cloth and the smudge was gone 🙂

Well thanks for letting me share my creation with you today and stopping by the blog here today, hope you all have a wonderful day!
