Making a Mixed Media Birthday Card with ScraPerfect

Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it with a mixed media Birthday Card.

My daughter was invited to a birthday party and I made this mixed media card for her to use. I recently have been making a variety of cards and I like to use mixed media. It really feels like a form of play to me. It’s a bit messy and not too serious.

directions:

I am using images that I printed out from the Hungryjpeg on cardstock and then used a ScanNCut CM350 to cut them out. If you would like to see how this was done, you can visit this tutorial. [ScanNCut]

The cardstock is cut in half and then folded for a greeting card. I am working directly on the card front.

Randomly draw the Gelatos onto the card front.

Using your finger or a cosmetic sponge, blend the Gelatos together.

Randomly stamp the flowers onto the card using light pink ink.

Randomly stamp the leaves onto the card using light green ink.
A quick tip: I used the stamp pad top to hold the stamp.
Use the Best Glue Ever to adhere the cut images.
Stamp the birthday sentiment in dark green.
Use the Wink of Stella pen to add a bit of glitter to the center of the flowers.
