In addition to the lovely cards Robyn made for our Designer Gallery at CHA, she had this stunning minibook. She used a Globecraft Memories globe on the cover. She also used the laser cut shapes (colored with Colorbox pigment inks),
cut out Stampin’ up stamped images (Colorbox Dye inks) which were then
colored with the Colorbox pigment inks. She used the Dew Drops, of course
placed with the Embellie Gellie. She raised 3D elements inside the
Globe with the Eco Board.
Here’s what Robyn said about constructing the album:
The papers on the album are the Robin’s Nest collection. I aged everything with the Mixed Media and Colorbox pigment inks, always using my Perfect Crafting Pouch to dry it instantly – because I am way too impatient to wait. Same with the colored stamps! I embellished with some of the rub-ons from Robin’s Nest also, as well as a few from my stash. Additional elements: some images from Cosmo Cricket, and Making Memories, Recollections brads, sentiments printed on vellum prepped with the Perfect Crafting Pouch.
One of my favorite bits is the sentiment stamped right into Makin’s Clay and, after it cured, colored with more pigment inks. I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch as the stamp release of course.
Something I loved was using the Best Cleaner Ever at the end of my work to clean up my lovely big cutting mat work surface from Westcott. I like that it came up clean as new.
The great thing about a paper bag mini album is that it is expandable. I have information and letters slipped into the pockets, and as I gather more family stories I can write them out and add more pieces.
