Cynthia put together another beautiful layout using the Best Glue Ever and Embellie Gellie. This layout was meant to be displayed and not placed into an album.
Wouldn’t a layout like this be a perfect present for Mother’s Day? You could even adhere your paper onto a 12×12 canvas using the Best Glue Ever and start from there. Which gives me a great idea….
A few close-up photos of Cynthia’s lovely page…
Cynthia is a master at layering many details and creating depth. She used black to outline and define the edge of her banners and topped them with a rolled rose made from book paper.
To make a rolled flower, first create a large glue spot with the Best Glue Ever on a piece of leftover release paper – like the backing from a pack of stickers. Make the glue about the size of a nickel for a medium-sized flower like Cynthia’s.
Tear several strips of book paper and place a drop of the Best Glue Ever at the end. Once your glue spot is tacky, roll the paper strips together into a tight spiral then press the bottom into your glue spot. Fuss the edges of the paper, bending and inking them slightly
