Mrs. Fix-It with the Best Glue Ever

I have a group of small pictures on my dresser. Occasionally they get knocked over, usually by a pile of laundry that needs to be put away. But for this particular frame, the last time was one too many.

Here’s what I started with. You can see the old, dried out adhesive.

I got out my bottle of the Best Glue Ever and made two thick lines on each side of the back. This glue is perfect for this project because it will bond paper to metal effortlessly.

After the glue had been drying for a while it looked like this. Most of the glue had dried until it was clear and tacky. Perfect!

You can use the Best Glue Ever wet or dry (i.e. tacky), but I like waiting until at least half is tacky. That way I can adhere my pieces together and not worry about them sliding around while the rest of the glue dries.

Now, it’s just a matter of carefully putting the two pieces together and pressing together.

And, right after pressing them together I reassembled the frame. No waiting. No mess.
