Here are some cards I made. I’ve come to the conclusion that as long as I keep it simple, my cards look just fine.
I started with some ready cards by Recollections, cut and inked the edges of a contrasting piece of nice cardstock, which I then adhered directly (Best Glue Ever). I layered two Rollagraph stamps in green and black inks on some nice white sketch paper I have, drying the ink with the Perfect Crafting Pouch. I cut strips to size, and inked the edges again with brown pigment ink. I raised these with strips of craft foam, which the Best Glue Ever adheres just fine
I colored flower and swirl shaped laser die cuts (Globecraft Memories) with Colorbox pigment inks. I put a flower over the text. I stamped the bird image from Just Rite cling stamps with black Colorbox dye ink, and set the swirl die cut like a branch.
I colored and stamped on an Eco Board as well. I used Perfect Crafting Pouch to instantly dry all this inking, tidied up with the Perfect Cleaning Cloth, and left the stamps sit for a while knowing they would come clean easily with the Best Cleaner Ever. Lastly I adhered the Eco Board and placed a single Dew Drop embellishment with the Embellie Gellie.
Then I cleaned my stamps.
