Santa’s Mail Box

I had October Afternoon’s Holiday Style Collection on hand and wanted to create a whimsical holiday project with it. Like many I’m sure, I had these mini metal mailboxes collecting dust on my book shelf…

What can you do with a package of buttons? Make a wreath, of course! A wreath was be the perfect motif for this project. After making a circle on the surface with sandpaper and threaded some buttons with baker’s twine, I adhered the buttons to form a wreath. ScraPerfect’s The Best Glue Ever is not only perfect for papers and felt (as we saw in the previous posts – More Felt and More Flowers) but it works well with metal and plastic!

The rest were assembled and adhered with The Best Glue Ever – even the pipe cleaners! Do you have these mini mailboxes in your stash? Give this project a try but make sure you have The Best Glue Ever on hand to put it all together!
