Hello and welcome to the blog – Shelly with you today sharing and spreading a Public Service Announcement to help keep your craft space in tip-top shape!
*Designer’s Tip: Stock up on nail brushes from the Dollar Store – they are great for scrubbing craft tools and you can toss them out when they get too worn! |
Years ago a public service campaign was started to get people to change the batteries in their smoke detectors twice a year with the time change – and it worked like a charm.
I am proposing that along with the time change, take time to give a good clean to your basic craft tools, mats, stencils and neglected stamps.
With Best Cleaner Ever and the Perfect Cleaning Cloth – this task is a breeze!
I admit, I neglect my tools and they get grungy, but this past weekend with my extra hour of daylight, I put on a good Hallmark movie and went to town cleaning the sticky residue, ink, paint and other grunge from all of my scissors, piercing tools and mats. I then moved on to my stencils and stamps.
Best Cleaner Ever has been newly reformulated and works faster than ever – and my favorite thing about this amazing cleaner? It does not irritate my super-sensitive skin!
Best Cleaner Ever Removes:
solvent inks like StazOn™ permanent markers like Sharpies™ adhesive build-up on scissors and tools latex, enamel, & spray paints stickers and tape residues (duct, carpet, Tuck™, and others!) chewing gum from shoes and carpetsScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever™ from hands, stamps, and fabric
AND lots more!!!

The Perfect Cleaning Cloth is the perfect companion to the Best Cleaner Ever. I have several of the Perfect Cleaning Cloths that I have earmarked for specific tasks. In my craft room, I have one cloth I keep pristine for wiping down my photos, one cloth for cleaning messes and another cloth for cleaning the screens on all my devices and my reading glasses.

I hope you all join me in my quest to keep my craft tools in pristine condition for years of happy crafting!
Remember, Spring Forward, Fall Back and Clean Your Craft Tools!
