Spring Shadow Box

With Easter just around the corner, I wanted to share a spring-themed shadow box I put together using the Best Glue Ever.  I had found these tiny robin’s eggs in a drawer (and I hate to admit how long I’ve had them in a drawer waiting to be used).

While tiny, they were the perfect size for one of Tim Holtz’s wooden shadow boxes.  I grabbed some wooden stars, paper flowers and an assortment of Tim Holtz Ideology pieces.  Everything was adhered using the Best Glue Ever — even the Tissue Tape (which is notorious for not sticking).  For larger items like the trophy and “M” I ran a line of the Best Glue Ever around the edge and let it set up for a few minutes before placing it in the box.  The star pick and green stick pin are both held inside a wooden spool, which was first filled with the Best Glue Ever.

I’ve used lots of items in this shadow box — wood, plastic, paper, metal and fabric.  And all were adhered with the Best Glue Ever.
